QuickBooks Online has no file size limit, but entering huge amounts of data causes a reduction in response time. For my clients who have outgrown QBO, I recommend Intacct. Intacct was designed by the same people who designed QBO, so it is very user friendly - but it can handle larger, more sophisticated companies, and the longer chart of accounts structure for nonprofit and municipal accounting. Intacct is recommended and endorsed by the AICPA.
